WHO WANTS TO KILL GEN. BUHARI? by Dr Ahmad Abubakar Gummi. It is becoming glaringly clear that Gen. Buhari was the only target of assassination in yesterdays double bomb attacks that rocked Kaduna. The first one which killed scores of Tijjaniya adherents mostly villagers that trooped into Kaduna to attend the closing tafsir of sheikh dahiru bauchi was an attempt to give the whole saga a Boko Haram imprint. As nobody will suspect the clandestine security agents as the possible culprits. It was just few days ago that the sheikh was photographed in Aso Rock breaking fast with president Jonathan. The bomb went off many minutes after the sheiks convoy has left the area and it was from a static vehicle parked by the roadside. On the other hand, the second bomb was from a loaded vehicle diligently in pursuit of the Generals car which was damaged. The Gen. was unhurt partly because of being a bullet proof vehicle. Boko haram, can very well attempt to kill anyone who doesnt approve of their deviant creed. Yet they are not in any hot pursuit to kill the general. If they will have to attack Kaduna especially with their limited capabilities, then the convoy of the Governor or GoC for instance would be their prime target and utmost concern. But this is not the case. So who is then behind it?
