***WHS CLASS OF 1989 REUNION*** Classmates, I am so excited about the events the planning committee have put together for this 25th year reunion. Looking forward to seeing each of you as we reunite to celebrate this momentous occasion ... See below our plans and payment schedules ... #TigerNationWeReady Whitehaven High School Class of ’89 ~ 25th Class Reunion Reunion Date: Friday – Sunday, August 29 – 31, 2014 (Labor Day Weekend) Planned Activities: FRIDAY – MEET & GREET; Mardi Gras Theme (Riverboat Ride) – reunion items will be distributed at this time, i.e. bags, name badges, banquet tickets, t-shirts, theme trinkets, etc. Food and Deejay are included. SATURDAY - BANQUET; Black & Gold Ball (Formal Event) – banquet tickets must be presented at the door for admittance. We would like for the attire to be formal, but will have no problems with semi-formal dress code. NO JEANS or ATHLETIC APPAREL. This event will be held at the Marriott Hotel East. There will be a short program; Food and Deejay are included. SUNDAY - FAMILY DAY; Sunday Service & Picnic; Hawaiian Luau Picnic Theme – we will attend 10:30 a.m. service at First Baptist Broad Street; Pastor Keith Norman (church home of Class President Patrick Johnson). Picnic will be following Worship Service at Dalstrom Park (Weaver / Shelby Drive) Reunion Fees: All fees include activities for the entire weekend plus all reunion items. *Couple packages will only include 1 T-shirt for the alumni student unless both persons are alumni then 2 T-shirts will be included. Additional T-shirts can be purchased for spouses, significant others, children, friends, etc. and MUST be purchased in advance. Single Package – $125 this includes admission for 1 person for all reunion activities & items *Couples Package - $200 this includes admission for 2 persons for all reunion activities & items Fee Schedule – we have created a fee schedule to help alleviate the burden of making one lump sum payment.
