WHY I AM IN THE RACE TO KSHA “Why is he in the race?” may - TopicsExpress

WHY I AM IN THE RACE TO KSHA “Why is he in the race?” may be a question that is bugging many minds in our treasured Sanga Local Government who have heard about my aspiration to become member representing Sanga constituency at the Kaduna State House of Assembly (KSHA) in the 2015 general election. The good news is that my answer to this question is very simple: I am in this race to represent the good people of Sanga Local Government at the State House of Assembly because “there is no place like home”. As a people, all we can be happy and proud of is this our treasured land – Sanga: the goodly heritage that was possessed and handed over to us by our forefathers. This land is good and Sanga people are very lovely, peaceful and industrious. Oh my God! The history about the origin of Sanga is so sweet and fantastic that one would love to hear it told again and again. Therefore, having a peaceful and prosperous Sanga shall make us a modern Eden, rich in Agriculture, truly “the food basket of Kaduna State” and the haven and envy of all nations. Sanga is our home. No matter your tribe and no matter your religion, we have long co-existed on this land for hundreds of years now. The greatest responsibility that we all have, which must be pursuit with all rigour and by all, is to make Sanga a sweet and peaceful home for all. No other person can ever make this local government what it should be for us. Therefore, handling it and its affairs carelessly would mean using our hands to pull down our great heritage and plunging our future generation to a bleak future that will be characterize by fears and uncertainties. Consequently, what should be paramount on our minds should be bequeathing a befitting future to our children who shall take over from where we stop. So we can see that I am involved because WE ARE ALL INVOLVED and we must be involved. In order to make Sanga our dream land, our representatives at all levels of government have great and very vital roles to play. Where such representatives do not have a vision for our land, that is, for our unity, peace, progress and prosperity, but are engrossed by either selfishness, greed and pride, we shall all be wasted and perish as a people in no distant time. Now is the appointed time for our CHANGE & transformation. I could see it very clearly, that God Who is the maker and creator of all things and all flesh, Who knows what He created me for and what He deposited in me, He alone has decided to raise me up to volunteer my humble self for this great task of turning around the history of Sanga people for the better. And if God has so decided, who am I to resist Him? And who else could stop this? In summary, from the heart of my heart, I am in this race for two (2) main reasons thus: 1. To ensure a peaceful and conducive atmosphere is created in Sanga LGA and other parts of Kaduna state through legislation and government policies that would guaranty freedom of worship by adherents of the different religions we have in the state and for our hardworking people to go about their lawful businesses without any form of molestation, harassment or intimidation. 2. To seek for what belongs to Sanga people and citizens of the state through bills I intent to sponsor after careful analysis of situations around parts of the state and articulating them into well crafted documents that could be debated at the floor of the house and passed into law or made government policies. While I call on you all the good people of Sanga Local Government Area to give me your mandate, I acknowledge the fact that I am nothing and can do nothing without God and your support. So again, I urge us all to pray more fervently at this time that God Almighty should give this land the very best, and nothing less than the very best in the forthcoming elections. So help us God.
