WHY SIMPLE HOUSE-CHURCHES? House-church (aka simple or organic church), homeschooling, and courtship are all attempts to restore Christianity and the Christian family to its original roots, practices, and patterns. These externals alone will not accomplish this but these externals help us facilitate the process. They restore our freedom and autonomy as individual Christians, as Christian families, and as individual congregations. They also help us to find our true identity within our primitive Christian and simple biblical roots. They help us to remove many of the traditions of men which have been added in the last 2000-yrs. If this simplicity, authenticity, and freedom, to be led by the Spirit of God, within the context of these ancient biblical truths, are neglected, then we have failed. This thing we call “Church” is a modern expression of changed lives, in thousands of countries, all over the world, yet, it is expressed in the context of the ancient truths of Jesus and the practices of his apostles. OUR GOAL IS TO RESTORE AND TO MOVE FORWARD BY GOING BACK TO THE ORIGINAL!
