WHY WE ARE IN THIS SITUATION TODAY? AND A BIBLICAL WAY FORWARD...... WHY GHANA IS WHERE IT IS TODAY? AND A BIBLICAL WAY FORWARD..... Ghana is said to be a Christian State but i am with a different opinion that it is just a TALK looking at the Corruption and the life of its people it tells you the Country is not ruled with the Bible which is the Standard for the Christian. In the heat of these times in Ghana the temptation to join the crowd to complain is the norm but as a young Bible living Christian i went to the good old book to see why we are here and find the way forward...God says we should not complain or murmur even when things go bad and that might seem to be unrealistic and very hypocritical in some way. So the question is what shoud we do when things go wrong as it is in the country now? Should we be unconcerned living under a self-acclaimed faith assuming that nothing is happening? or Should we resort to prayer as many see it to be the only solution at this time? or Should we begin blaming unseen forces like Dwarfs for the falling of the Cedis? It seems to be that we are before the Red Sea and the Moses of the Country dont know the way forward. At this time what should I do as a Christian. What is Gods judgement about this situation? With these arguments on-going in my mind i decided to go through my Bible and i found a striking answer to question on what to do in Ecclesiastes 7.14bIn the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider So as a Bible living Christian i decided to follow the counsel of King Solomon that in the day of adversity you are to CONSIDER and not to COMPLAIN. These are some of my CONSIDERATIONS Why Ghana is where it is today and a way forward going through the Bible. Some are hard and bitter truths even to me THE CHURCH IS A REASON WHY GHANA IS WHERE IT IS TODAY? I know that it is easy to blame the politician for the hardship in the country but the truth the Church is a CAUSE. Today many sanctuaries were empty because the hardship is affecting it members. Why the Church? Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn. The Church of which i am part was commissioned to be the LIGHT and SALT of the earth that means we are the ANSWER to the problems of men. Romans 8.19-22 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now The Creation(Ghana) is not waiting for just anybody but the manifestation of the SONS of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.-Matthew 13.44 The field in the above scripture is the system of the world ie the marketplace of business,politics and education and the treasure is the SOULS OF MEN The Old generation of Christians in a way failed in fulfilling the desire of the LORD Jesus-capturing the Marketplace and that in a way is the reason for the agony many are going through today. The Bible says that JESUS bought the FIELD which is the world or the marketplace(SYSTEM) because of the treasure-(SOULS OF MEN). For years the approach of the Church has been the redemption of the treasure(the Souls of men) so we have become very passionate about SOUL WINNING(THE TREASURE) as it is termed without embarking of the real deal alongside that is SYSTEM WINNING(THE FIELD) forgetting that the Jesus in his quest for the treasure bought the field knowing that the lesser is included in the greater. So you hear many ignorant and short sighted believers saying that what is important is the souls of men and not the world thereby singing very funny songs like take the whole world and give me Jesus and at the same time contradicting themselves by saying the Earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof. Let me explain something to you my friend...JESUS CHRIST will not come until we have REDEEMED THE SYSTEM which controls the SOULS. The Old Generation Christians failed to redeem the System because of many reasons, among which are: 1. They were concerned about the pursuit of religion and churchianism rather than the Kingdom establishment in the Heart of men. So they are proud to say things likemy Church A is more powerful than your Church B-the misunderstanding between Charismatic,Pentecostals and the Orthodox because of a mans interpretation of scripture and belief becoming the dogma of the Church. Maybe you are also caught in this tradition of my church is the best i admonish you to read your bible because Jesus Christ is not building someones ministry HE IS BUILDING HIS CHURCH TO REDEEM THE SYSTEM. 1 Corinthians 3:3-6 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. Remove the speck from your eyes, the Church is not ICGC,Winners,Redeemed,Christ Embassy or Pentecost YOU ARE THE CHURCH. This is the reason Jesus made this statement in Luke 16:8 for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light because they care and fight about unnecessary things of life thereby making the servants to ride on horses and the Kings Kids to be trekking. The world is waiting for Sons Of God and not children...so grow UP and lets take responsibility to change the Country because when the Righteous RULES the City Rejoice. 2.They disconnected the Church from the marketplace(system) so they see you as an unbeliever if you engage in Secular work like Politics,Business and Education. They were busy going about the synagogue to pray, forgetting that Jesus Christ came for something higher than that. Jesus Christ and the Early Apostles exemplified what Christianity is by taking over the marketplaces. For example Jesus Christ most of the time was carrying out the ministry work at the sea side-thats the fishermans offices,the Tax Offices and the Resort Centres in the Mountains. Christianity is more than carrying Bible to a church on a sunday...amazingly the word Christian was first used to describe the followers of this way in the city of Antioch.(Acts 11.26-And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.). Antioch was the metropolis of the day where business,educational and government activities took place that should tell you that the disciples were involved in the higher matters of the land. The world is waiting for Sons Of God and not children...so grow UP and lets take responsibility to change the Country because when the Righteous RULES the City Rejoice. Obadiah prophesied saying SAVIORS SHALL COME FROM MOUNT ZION to rescue the world..Obadiah 1.21 Young man God needs you to be a Politician, a Business man as much as He needs preachers and until we turn the tables to become not ony the SAVIORS OF MEN BUT OF THE SYSTEM then this mess will go on. Jesus expects US OCCUPY TILL HE COMES(Luke 19.13) He is not saying that we should fill the church auditorium but rather OCCUPY THE SEATS OF GOVERNMENT,BUSINESS AND EDUCATION. The Church is the answer to this world problems and we must live UP to the duty. You were BORN AGAIN A LEADER in the marketplace so like Caleb you dare for the Mountains. Dont just be a PRAYER WARRIOR GO AND TAKE THE PLACE OF AUTHORITY IN THE LAND. Read your Bible and you will see that what is happening in the Country today happened in the days of the Prophet Elisha. 2 KING 6.24-33 And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria. And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an asss head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of doves dung for five pieces of silver. And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. And he said, If the Lord do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son. And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh. Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day. And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of the Lord; what should I wait for the Lord any longer? Things were hard for the people just like it is today for many and the Government at that time couldnt help so He sent a messenger to kill the Prophet because HE IS THE AGENT OF CHANGE but He was doing nothing. Until Elisha ACTED Change was not POSSIBLE. It is good to pray and be jumping in Church doing the Hallelujah Business but the more excellent way is for us to RULE AS KINGS IN THE LAND. We are the SALT of Ghana we must preserve it from DECAYING, No wonder Edmund Burke said EVIL PREVAILS WHEN GOOD MEN DO NOTHING. Finally i will say it again Young man, God needs you to be a Politician, a Business man as much as He needs preachers and until we turn the tables to become not ony the SAVIORS OF MEN BUT OF THE SYSTEM then this mess will go on. Arise O ye mighty Ones from thy Slumber to change the world dont follow the song of the old generation...there is a new song for a new life the world is in pains and is waiting for you O ye Mighty man. The Revolution has started so make up your mind to join this Chariot of Change makers that will change the course of events in the country...in 10 to 15 years from now lets see THE RIGHTEOUS RULING IN POLITICS,BUSINESS AND EVERYSPHERE OF LIFE.
