WHY?! WHY WILL NO ONE HELP HIM?! It really saddens me that we have this GREAT dog stuck without a home or foster. Is it really because of what package God put him in? He is a black dog and a pit bull so therefore no one will help him? Do you think he really chose this for himself? I bet he wishes he could change the way he looks every day of his life as he sits with no one. Adonis is such a sweet chunk of love! I cry the whole way home every time I leave him because it is so cruel that he is so discriminated against and therefore, not one person will open their heart and home to this baby. He just waits and waits and waits. Goes to bed every night in a cage and wakes up every night in a cage. Lights go out and not one person is tucking him in and giving him goodnight kisses. He has no idea if anyone will ever come for him. Every weekend he goes to adoption events thinking there may be ONE person out there for him. He tries so hard for everyone to see that behind this body you were told to hate is a SWEET and loving soul. He always greets everyone with wiggles and a BIG smile (yes- he smiles!). He begs for people to spend just a moment with him. He soaks it up. I hate it when people look at him and walk by and he just stands there wondering what the heck he did wrong. I will say it again, he is such a sweet baby and DESERVES love. He LOVES people! With every wiggling inch of his being..he LOVES them! He LOVES kids! LOVES! (He needs bigger kids though bc he forgets his extra powerful wiggliness and may knock down the little ones). He also loves to play with other big dogs all the time. He is a total goof! He is also house trained. So what is the problem? Why will no one help him? If I took him and put him in this golden retriever body, people would be fighting for him. But because he is black and stocky- no one will give him the time of day? IF you are looking for a GOOD dog and you dont judge a book by its cover..choose Adonis! I personally am a huge lover of black dogs and pits, so for me..he is precious! He is THE ONE! I just wish others would see what we see.
