WIFE REPORTS HUSBAND FOR FORCING HER TO SHARE SAME BED WITH HIM AND ANOTHER WIFE IN A ONE ROOM HOUSE; A TWENTY-YEAR-old Lusaka woman has reported her 23-year-old husband to human rights activists for forcing her and another woman to share a bed with him. Grace Tembo of Kanyama Township said she could no longer share her husband, Gift Sitali, with another woman on the same bed in a one roomed house. According to statements obtained by the Sunday Times during the week, Sitali married Tembo in 2009 after impregnating her. “I got married to this man in 2009, but we separated in 2010 after misunderstandings,” said Tembo in a statement she gave to CK Equity and Human Rights who are currently handling the matter. Tembo said it was while on separation that Sitali married another woman, Grace Pumulo aged 20 without informing her that he was on separation with his first wife. “He came to pick me from my parents so that I could follow him to collect money for our child. I was however, shocked the following day when another woman arrived and claimed to be his wife,” Tembo said. Tembo said her husband then asked the two women to start sleeping with him on the same bed because he loved both of them.
