WIFE UPDATE For those still with us on the journey. A few positives; first a little cooking was done each day leading up to Christmas day. Cookies with the grandkids, sauce for calamari, sauce for lasagna and more. Our son then pitched in Christmas Eve day and pulled the balance of the cooking together. Still eating leftovers which are good. Italian wedding soup for today Sunday, excellent. I was allowed to assist in wrapping presents for Santa on Christmas Eve, this was a mistake. Saturday was beautiful so we took a ride to the Peaks, enjoyable. The negatives are still with us; frustration, weakness, chemo side effects, energy level, appetite etc. Waiting for a prescription to be manufactured that may help on one item. We are thankful for each day and for those who remain as prayer partners along with family, friends and the medical team. As her surgeon said this will be a marathon and not a sprint.
