***WILL DIE BECAUSE HE WANTED TO PLAY!!!*** *☆ ☆¸.•°*”˜˜”*°•.¸ Sparky (A0984689)¸.•°*”˜˜”*°•.¸☆☆¸.• is not a happy camper sitting in a cage at Brooklyn ACC. Reportedly found wandering on a Brooklyn street, he is neutered and microchipped. Given how badly his coat was matted when he was found, Sparky was either out there on his own for a while or his people didn’t take the best care of this little guy and he needed sedation to be shaved down. When it came time for his behavioral eval soon after he got there, Sparky tried his best but was still having a tough time with his ordeal. He wasn’t interested in food or toys, took the look to mean the assessor wanted to play and tried to jump on him, and did some of those Shih Tzu growls and snaps when they tried to play tag and squeeze his paw. But he was just fine when that new dog came into the room. For that, they’ve put Sparky on tomorrow’s euthanasia list and made him New Hope only. So are all you Shih Tzu owners now rolling your eyes? Of course Sparky is not happy—he wants out of that cage and he wants to be treated like the Shih Tzu prince he is! If you think you could handle being his servant, then start applying to rescues to foster or adopt this little ball of fluff. But do it right now, tomorrow, ACC won’t waste a minute on a dog they figure nobody would ever want. If you can help Sparky, please contact a New Hope rescue NOW! He can not be adopted direct by the public. HURRY HURRY HURRY!!!
