WILL YOU TAKE 4 MINUTES AND R E C E I V E........ “D I V I S I O N A M O N G T H E B E L I E V E R S” It is the Lord’s word in the gospels which most do agree upon; yet the love of the Son of God being received is the key to a relationship with God our Father. Jesus said “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” Herein is the other verse which is so important: “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” It is imperative to remember this as we are members one of another in CHRIST! The knowledge of anything besides CHRIST can bring division and therefore strife and debate which is not of unity: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” AND “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Our focus when relating to one another is HIS words of eternal life and to love one another unto the glory of the Father: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” The fellowship of the believers is based upon looking at CHRIST JESUS and H I S love and obedience to the Father with the words he again obeyed. “For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.” AND “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” These words are from our LORD whom we have received into our hearts needing H I M for our salvation. What is the need for doctrine and knowledge of scriptures but only to love one another: “For we are labourers together with God: ye are Gods husbandry, ye are Gods building. 10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.” = “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” AND “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death”---so we need not discuss the differences of the interpretations within the bible which has caused division amongst believers. Furthermore, this should be our joy in - H I M - instead---“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask , it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Imagine when Jesus had performed so many miracles and the followers naturally wanted to crown H I M the King of Kings and the Messiah! Then this occurred upon H I S death on the cross: “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent ; 52 And the graves were opened ; and many bodies of the saintswhich slept arose , 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying: Truly this was the Son of God.” Was there any talk of doctrinal differences here? Did they question the scriptures? Yes they did question for many began to seek to find where in the holy-scriptures H E was mentioned before of old; and looked back to find the prophesied Messiah who was to come. Their motivation into the scriptures took on a goal to prove in scripture that H E was prophesied. Many did find it in Isaiah and the Psalms and other places yet they had taken the scripture into consideration towards a real event in their lives. It was not a debate or disturbance unto doctrinal knowledge and interpretations. Think of the reasons now why there are divisions since the time of CHRIST! The Roman soldier who saw Mary behold her son on the cross with John the disciple must have had compassion upon her as well as Pontious Pilate. Now if I were Pontius Pilate and had seen the innocence of JESUS {as he did} I would have been very guilty of the death of CHRIST and at least would have tried to do something for this man “JESUS”s mother and family wouldn’t you? Then there was the Roman Centurion which approached JESUS: “Andwhen Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, Beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented . 7And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh ; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed , Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” Seeing all this of course was proof of all miracles prior to these which may have been only “rumors” to many. The other scripture which relates to my upcoming point is at a short while after the cross again yet with Pilate the Roman Judge. “Joseph of Arimathaea,an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus. 44And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. 45 And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.” It is clear by allowing this man Joseph to have the body of Jesus he had conviction of his earlier actions and therefore a respect for JESUS especially since he was pronounced dead. The Roman soldier and Pilate being convicted in their hearts later - when finding out of the LORD”S Resurrection - did then begin to have even further convictions within concerning the Lord Jesus CHRIST! Let us also remember Paul the Apostle who was blinded by JESUS on his way to Damascus then being persecuted thereafter was in face to many a judge: “Butwhen I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed toAugustus, I have determined to send him.” Paul had not been found guilty by the Roman judges even into Rome under King Agrippa. Yet all the while he was testifying to the many judges in the land of the Lord coming to him and being blinded and then as well being healed due to his obedience from the Lord’s command. You see now the many leaders of authority of Rome have heard of JESUS again from a former Pharisee—Paul, whom was originally Saul, and who was in the business formerly of killing Christians: Being well learned of Jewish laws and religious practices now had met the Son of God! Here the Roman Catholic Church began from these undeniable events! There were many now of the paganistic traditional Roman culture who received JESUS! This is where we have gotten the Christmas holiday date from the Roman Catholic pagan Holiday---they just added the time to respect JESUS on their regular traditional season for celebrations. This was not truth nor even accurate as to the Lord’s true birthdate! Yet these authority figures such as Pilate and other judges were convinced by so much proof in their society; they began in their own way to respect JESUS and some from guilt such as perhaps Pilate—know Jesus was innocent still allowing JESUS’ murder on the cross- yet some from seeing the truth ---the Roman Catholic Church. Then the Church of those disciples in the book of Acts were doing the works and healings to all who needed it---daily! Here is the picture of God’s church in such a daily manner as they had church in houses where the scripture holds true as Jesus said “Where two or three of you are gathered in my name there am I in the midst of you”. After all the will of God was being performed through miracles and healings by these disciples and JESUS had told them--John 6:29 KJV Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Matthew 18:5 KJV “And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.” These who were observing the works of JESUS completed by the disciples were being added to the church daily and herein the knowledge of the bible was not discussed nor the doctrinal differences for they were focused upon the awesome power and love of CHRIST JESUS and not the accuracy or qualifications of scriptures but the verses here describes the reality==1 John 1:5 KJV This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Matthew 6:22 KJV The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Matthew 6:23 KJV But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Matthew 5:29 KJV And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out , and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish , and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
