WILLIAM STARKE STARKE, William Cole, age 19, suddenly left his family and friends on May 25, 2014. Born February 28, 1995, Cole was the beloved son of James Ashby and Kimberly Proffitt Starke. He was preceded in death by his grandfather William Bill Starke. Cole left behind his loving sister Sarah; friend, David Hampton; girlfriend, LeAnn Adkins; grandparents, Larry and Jane Proffitt, Geraldine Starke; aunts and uncles, Larry and Megan Proffitt, Tammi Proffitt, Joyce Wilson, Rhett and Brie Starke, Beth Norris, Jeff and Linda Starke, Jennifer and Ron Romanosky; cousins, Chase, Maggie, Alexis, Ashby, Harrison, Niki, Rachel, Matthew, Mac, Sophie, Ben, Claire, Jack, Cameron, Kaleb, Nicholas, Hunter, John William and Aliviah. Cole graduated from Goochland High School in 2013 and had just completed his first year at Greensboro College in North Carolina. Cole loved being with his family, hanging out with friends, deer and turkey hunting, fishing, golf and baseball, where he played middle infield for Goochland High School and Greensboro College. He had a great spirit and infectious smile that will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Goochland High School baseball program or the Greensboro College baseball program. The family will receive visitors at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Homes. 11020 West Broad St., Glen Allen, Va. 23060, on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Hope Church, 12445 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va. 23238, 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014. Burial will follow at St. Matthews United Methodist Church Cemetery.
