WIN AN OPTIVEN T -SHIRT (read the entire write up....original from G.Wachiuri) Greetings to my fans, The world is like a forest. We are in it to hunt and gather without any limitations. Its upon you and me to maximize on what we want from this massive forest . You are free to hunt millipendes, rats, antelops, and any other animal found in this forest. For you to succeed in hunting and gathering you need; 1.The right tools, these tools may be education, right company, intellect or may be wisdom. 2.Strategy- this is long term plan. Keep the long term focus, evaluate the plans, review them, call for new ideas as you keenly review. If the strategy is helping you to catch squirres, change it to target what you want. 3.Ability to make decisions- the way you are today is a result of sum total of the decisions you make on daily basis. In my case, i used to make decisions that please everyone untill the time i read a book called Think like a leader this book changed by decision making for good. I am now able to make unpopular decisions and i have no regrets about it. Learn to think by your mind and not by your heart. Be bold and make the right decisions. 4. Use common sense- Always avoid things that add no value to your vision.learn to say NO on things that are not in line with your vision. Do not be involved on things that will embarass you if you are discovered. Always learn to obey your gut feelings. Develop a strong will to say no to the many life desires 5. Avoid blame game. Do not blame anyone if your hunting is not successful. Your success depend on how you react on issues. Avoid seeing the devil when things are not working. Some of these challenges are basically due to your negative attitude. Stop spiritualizing every single challenge. Involve God in a more serious issues and do what you are supposed to do. Its common sense that if you want to pass your exams, you must burn midnight oil, for you to excell in your career, you have to do your work deligently and think through on what you do. Personally, i attained top management positions based on few things in life which i will share later on my blog georgewachiuri 6.Change your hunting company. It is clear in my mind that there are some people that you must drop. People who drain your energy, people with scarcity mentality, people who are selfish, those who love themselves. Get a company of Eagles, people with gigantic vision, positive and warm people to associate with. I am talking about visionary, committed, dedicated, focussed,humble, people who want to leave a legacy on earth. People who give themselves out. What comes in my mind are people like Vimal Shah, Dr.Manu Chandaria , Dr. Wale Akinyemi of Power talks, Mbugua Mumbi, Kigwa Stephen , Dr. Ruth Waweru, Mary Wacuka (G.M. Optiven L Kenya), Dr. Letting Kibiwot, Bishop Phillips Katutu and other people that are changing the world. Its your duty to do something worth writing or write something worth reading. Its better to try and fail instead of not trying at all. 7. Learn to share what you have gathered. Its good to give back to the community. When you give back, you open more doors to receive 1000 fold. Give Give and list yourself to the list of honor.
