WISDOM ON CHILDREN: YOU CANNOT TAKE YOUR EYES OFF OF THEM! I did once, at poolside while traveling through Honduras. Met another American tourist and we just started conversing. Suddenly, I saw what I perceived as some drunk man pushing tables and chairs all over the place at the poolside restaurant/bar, and rapidly making his way in the direction of the swimming pool. In actuality, it was a very special and alert Honduran man who had observed my son having made his way from the low end of the pool to the deeper side, while I was distracted...and...starting to drown, as the American tourist and I talked about whatever...once he had cleared a path between chairs and tables, the Honduran rescuer dove into the pool fully dressed...and...most likely saved my sons life. I am forever thankful to that special Hombre from Honduras.
