Thanking you V K WATTAL Respected Elders, Analysts, Young men/ young women, Kashmir watchers, & students, If media reports coupled with the sources from the Home Ministry Govt. of India, are to be believed, Honb Home Minister of India Shri. Raj Nath Singh has directed all the Kashmiri Pandit Organisations that hence forth all the memorandums should be handed over to the Joint Secretary in the Ministry who has been allotted this work.According the Home Ministry sources the Home Minister has been flooded with the memorandums and all the organisations are seeking a personal interview with the Home Minister. This semi literate poor migrant, with no access to the ELITE THINK TANK OF THE COMMUNITY, WHO CLAIM TO BE THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE COMMUNITY AND AUTHORISED TO DECIDE OUR FUTURE , wants to know who is responsible for this situation.This poor migrant is of the opinion that we have not to blame any body but our selves.A community of 2-3 lacs ( though we claim to be around 7 lacs ) has nearly hundred organisations whose letter head NETAS ( formerly Clerks, head clerks,School teachers , constables , briefless lawyers, self acclaimed writers ( mostly plagiarists )have their personal AGENDA that they will occupy the governing positions in the BANANA REPUBLIC OF PANUN KASHMIR ( No harm in day dreaming ------- DIL KE KHUSH RAKHNE KO GHALIB YEH KHAYAL ACHHA HAI ).Due to constraints of space , it is not possible to go through all the memorandums but let us sample two or three. < It had been reported that the migrants will be rehabilitated in clusters located at Annantnag, Srinagar & Baramulla.The demands :- (a) each cluster should have MEDICAL COLLEGE, ENGINEERING COLLEGE, DEGREE COLLEGE, 12 HIGH SCHOOLS, 3 POLICE STATIONS and one ASSEMBLY SEAT. < One retired high official of the Govt. Of India demanded that all the houses sold under distress by the migrants should be returned to the owners without any payment.We should have 2 NOMINATED MEMBERS TO THE RAJYA SABHA and three Assembly seats in J&K.It is presumed that the retired high official was day dreaming of getting nominated for one seat.It may interest the readers the said official was born in Delhi. < The Government should construct 7 lac flats for the community ----------- meaning thereby that each member of the family should be allotted one flat . < Not to be left out a memoranda came from the community members well settled in UNITED STATES , having become US citizens , that they should not be overlooked in the rehabilitation process , because they are the oldest MIGRANTS. This writer leaves it to the discretion of elite, high thinkers, letter head NETAS, and of course the ordinary community people. PANUN KASHMIR / HOMELAND With apologies this writer would like to draw the attention of Respectable, Dr. AGNISHEKHAR, Dr. K L CHOUDHARY, Sh.AJAY CHRUNGOO,Sh. ASHWANI CHRUNGOO, Dr. SHAKTI BHAN KHANNA, Dr. M K TENG, Dr. V K SAZAWAL, Sh. ROMESH MANVATI, Sh. KAMAL HAK, Sh. MOTI KAUL ( President AIKS )who were the FOUNDER MEMBERS/ ACTIVISTS, of the PANUN KASHMIR . It has been reported that they were the people who carved out the contours and boundaries of the HOME LAND. All the above mentioned people are knowledgeable and well known in their respective spheres of their working. This writer along with numerous ordinary folks of the community would like to know :- < whose brain child was this conception -----------(a) the combination of the above mentioned respectable persons (b) was it imported from USA (reportedly at the behest of some intelligence agencies (c) was it planted by the intelligence agencies of GOI(d) while marking the boundaries of HOMELAND , were you sure that this is possible. Respected gentlemen, you were successful in the beginning, by selling this concept to the youngsters, who in turn became the force behind it. The elders did not show any interest and were cool to it. Riding on the crest of your success and dreaming about the Elderado, which you thought was round the corner , it was widely reported you distributed the portfolios. But alas ! this did not last long and you washed the dirty linen in the open. One PANUN KASHMIR became several PANUN KASHMIRS each claiming he/she was the REAL one.The bone of contention was who would go abroad, and in this rat race several of you ended in being the guests of Dr. GHULAM NABI FAI. Respected Gentlemen MIRAGES never provide water to the thirsty,WARS are not fought by pressing the plastic buttons , nor from the BUNKERS ------- they are fought by EYE BALL TO EYEBALL CONTACT. YOUR GAME PLANS AND CONCEPTS HAVE GONE HAYWIRE AND HAVE BECOME IRRELEVANT, THE COMMUNITY HAS LOST FAITH , BUT IF YOU STILL PERSIST WITH IT THEN GOD ALONE CAN HELP YOU. ARTICLE 370 Not a day passes when our community does not ask for the abrogation of Article 370. Our community, specially, cries hoarse for its abrogation since 1990.During the last 25 years we have not heard any other community from the J&K State calling for its abrogation. Let us for a moment , believe ( unbelievable) that this article is abrogated , IS IT GOING TO GIVE OUR COMMUNITY SOME SPECIAL BENEFITS WHICH THE OTHER COMMUNITIES WILL BE DEPRIVED OF. On the one hand we want to go back to the valley and on the other hand we are only antagonizing the people from KHANNABAL TO KHADINYAR ( who definitely are not in favour of its abrogation ). The other community which agitated for its abrogation was the JAMMUITES who in 1951 launched the famous PRAJA PARISHAD AGITATION Which lasted for several months and was mercilessly crushed by the Sheikh regime under the tactical support of the then Central Government. Article 370 is a complicated issue and cannot be abrogated. So let it take its own time. It is for the information of the community the JAMMU people have grievance that in the crushing of the Agitation , KASHMIRI PANDITS played a vital role -------- by occupying the key positions in the administration and ADVISING the Sheikh Govt. how to crush it. The community is well aware of the fact that Home Secretary Sh. ANIL GOSWAMI , is a jammu born who has spent most of the service career in the state. Dr. Jitendra Singh , MOS to the Prime Minister is also a Jammu born. Both of them know our community closely. It will be advisable for our spokespersons and Leaders to play the CARDS carefully. While concluding, this writer is aware of the fact that most of it may not be palatable to the vested interests , whose feathers I have ruffled, because the TRUTH IS ALWAYS BITTER.
