WOMAN OF THE YEAR … Well, she should be ! General Motors announced that Mary Barra, their new chief executive, would be earning a salary of $ 14,400,000 a year, including some long-term incentive payments. I have no idea what it takes to run a huge car company like that but I LOVE the idea that when she was negotiating her salary and terms … that GM said to her - What if we offer you a MILLION DOLLARS A MONTH and she said Eh, not enough. Well, Id like to think thats how it happened.
