WOMEN OF THE BIBLE...Yesterday, I went to a Ladies Bible study on Women of the Bible. I listened to a session on Lydia and Hannah. Both ladies had good material to present for their sessions. I have to admit that the life of Lydia is a good example for me due to my personal circumstances in life. At the end of the session on Lydia, my niece-in-law was asked to stand up and read verses from Philippians 4, and that brought a smile to my face. I thought I was meeting a young lady who sat in front of me, and I realized that I knew her - since her mother and I were college classmates and her mother was (and still is) a dear friend to me. Her parents now live in the Washington DC - Virginia area and I need to go and visit them sometime! I was able to renew other friendships yesterday of ladies that I have not been able to see for a while. May I always want to study the lives of women in the Bible and learn lessons from them and take notice of the lives of godly women today! Take care, Carla
