WONDERFUL SPARK! Love David Hi David. The story i am about to share with you, is coming from a girl who has never thought about following her dreams. I am 22 years old and never really put much thought into what i really loved to do, i know what I love doing which is saving animals, but i never really had any faith in doing something with it, I never had the encouragement to pursue my dream, my family was always telling me it takes time and money and its something you just dont have. I believed them, I was a high school drop out who got pregnant at 18 so, of course i thought my life was set for failure, not because of my child, but because i thought that if i didnt impress everyone else I wasnt good enough for any dream of mine. I always just thought that i would be the old lady at the end of some country road with a crazy number of pets, until this year when i found myself at an animal shelter where I had spotted a kitten lifeless in a cage, the shelter is no home for any animal, no kill or not. this is why, as i approached one of the shelter staff members, i noticed a family come in with kids, no older then 6, so i quickly whispered to him, you have a kitten who is still breathing but is fading quickly. he quickly ran to the cat room and bagged the cat up! I was so shocked at the un-humane thing he had just done, that i went to confront him but realized quickly that the children were still standing there, he had no heart as he walked by these children with the cat in the bag, thank god these kids did not understand what was happening. I was so upset that I left in such a hurry, I almost forgot my friend. After that day i realized this world needs more good hearted people. So i set out to pursue my dream, as an animal rescuer. I have since saved many animals from that shelter plus more. my point for my story is, dont let anyone destroy your dreams, and please dont let something so tragic be what motivates you. If you have a dream get up and go after it, if your a high school drop out, go back and get your G.E.D. You only live once so make this one time shot your best and give it your all. Never settle for less then what you truly deserve. I have changed lives of animals, and familys who have adopted them. if saving lifes isnt your passion, then find your passion. I know my story is long, but i feel that life is to short and the more people who reads this may just give someone that spark to do something with theyre dreams. thank you
