WOR-SHIfT - Part 3 When we Pray God sends angels, when we worship, God comes himself I want to say thank you to everyone who dropped their views in the comment box, and those who will yet do, thank you. Haven looked at the comments, I am only more convinced of the Need for a Worship Shift. If we must have effective worship both as Believers and Music Minister, then it must be based on scriptures and not what appears logical to us I have often said, that, worship is not a song, it is a spirit, and if a Spirit then it can only be caught when taught, for the words that we speak are SPIRIT and LIFE, worship is LIFE Back to the discussion, Let me say clearly, God is not Moved by Worship(What we call worship i.e Singing, crying etc) no matter how many Hours. God is also not moved by Prayer and Fasting, never! God is not even moved by Faith, (I know thats Shocking but dont hit me yet) You may want to quote without faith its impossible to PLEASE GOD but pause a while and note, it does not say: without faith it is impossible to MOVE God, it says PLEASE So Many said, God will come down, because He inhabits the Praises of His People #smiles That sounds like God comes down from Heaven whenever we Praise, and inhabits it, but thats mans Reasoning, Its important to Know that God lives inside of us already by reason of redemption! So God doesnt Come down, He is with Us Hence our Praise is not Just a song that we sing but rather it is a realization and an awarness that God is already with us-- Thats Praise! Thats what that quotation means. Our praise, is, that we come to the Consciousness that God is Here! One other way to view that scripture is to understand that It is saying, that, When we worship or Praise, we become Christ Conscious, which implies that we focus on GOD Now one of the Principles of Focus is that whatever you focus on, you magnify So when we focus on God in worship, we become more aware of Him in our enviroment, it is not like he comes down,no! Its just saying, Our consciousness makes his Presence profound To be continued
