WORKOUT TIP: Women tend to have a lot of difficulty developing their upper chest. Developing muscle on the upper chest gives women a fuller-looking figure and also helps create the illusion of a narrower waistline. Also, for women with implants it can help reduce that hollow appearance in the center that can sometimes occur. To target the upper end of your pectoral (chest) muscles, focus on doing a lot of your chest work (chest presses and flys) on an incline bench, rather than always doing them lying flat. You can vary the angle of the incline from about 30 degrees to 60 degrees - the higher the angle, the higher you hit your chest muscles, but also the more you share the exercise with your shoulders. - Fabian.
