WORLD PREMIERE of Jeff M. Giordanos documentary The Thrill Is Gone, which creatively chronicles my lengthy Bay Area career as movie programmer/impresario and pulp novelist, this Monday, June 9, 7pm (no cover) at Forbidden Island, part of the aloha party at my favorite local hangout, where I also worked as band booker/publicist/movie host/door man over the past five or so years. Monica Cortes Viharo and I will hanging out and hob-nobbing for a couple of hours after the movie (which is about 70 minutes long). This is the last of several public farewell parties before Monica and I depart the Bay Area for Seattle in less than two weeks. Mahalo to Michael Thanos for all the support.
