WOW - the end-of-semester crush is a real bear, but if you could read just a portion of the solid work produced out of WVU - Communication Studies this semester, youd be proud also. Seeing some meaningful progress. On the docket today: * Final presentations in #WVUCOM425, where teams of undergraduate students developed four-variable path models and proposed a literature review to support them (all CMC studies) * Thesis defense for a colleague across campus, looking at TV news directors perceptions of user-generated content, as well policies surrounding its usage * Final romp with my #wvucom335 social media students, looking at social media strategy plans for six different community and campus organizations * Night-cap with our 2014 SPICE Study Abroad students - as we take eight more undergraduates overseas for 9.0 credits in Germany Im sure youre all feeling similarly mixed feelings of tired, disgust and ultimately pride from you students: Stay the course, and well pop a top at either/both Eastern Communication Association and International Communication Association.
