WOW...I rarely rant on social media but this one has me headtilted...Another football coach openly leaves my alma mater (University of Wisconsin-Madison) because the University is too stringent on their academic standards of athletes coming in to the program!! UNREAL!! So Barry Alvarez would rather have students...not just athletes in his program...and he would rather see these students graduate and have successful futures yet he and the university are penalized for it. I am sorry Barry...youre an upstanding individual as I had the pleasure of talking with you on a number of occasions during my time at UW. I am proud to say I graduated from that institution and I am proud to be affiliated with a program that chooses academics over athletics. We have both entitiies at that school and those athletes will be better for it. Thanks Barry and UW-Madison!! Dont go changin to try to please them!! Badger Hour #UniversityofWisconsinMadison
