WOW !!!! The virtual numbers look great... 3,550 LIKES on this page for the dozens of SOS Save Our Souls dogs and pups BEGGING for YOUR attention. Looks like we have a lot of friends who care and share, right??? NOPE... One of the posts only reached SEVEN people. Sad, but true...The stockholders, publicists, marketing officials of Facebook dont care about animal rescue. They dont care if the SOS dogs and pups EVER get food, provisions, FURever families.... If any ONE of these rescued fur angels receive any loving gesture of kindness, it is NOT due to FB overwhelming generosity and caring heart. The dogs and pups waiting in limbo here are depending on animal advocates who truly care what happens to each and every one of them EACH AND EVERY DAY.. WHERE ARE THE CARING, SHARING ANIMAL LOVERS ??? The happy stories are far and few between, but the majority of these happy tails are due to TEAMWORK...not because I stepped out of my comfort zone to save another life (or lives in most cases) or because I provided their daily care for months or in many cases YEARS, prior to their FURever family adopting them. We have a handful of friends who share our photos and albums of adoptable dogs and puppies, who share our pleas for food and supplies, who provide prayer and support in good times and bad. For that, we are thankful. Prayer is wonderful, however ALONG with prayer....care AND share.. As animal advocates, each of us has a gift...mine just happens to be the grunt work...walking dogs, cleaning kennels, medicating, hauling water, crawling under houses and dumpsters, through woods, thickets, mud, insects and rodents in the name of rescue. Not many could OR would live MY LIFE...and I dont blame them. As a rescuer (a temporary mama to dozens of dogs and puppies)….My request is simple… If you are unable to unable to: Adopt Foster Volunteer your time Donate food, supplies, money for vetting and meds…. PLEASE SHARE THE POSTS so others that CAN do these things see the EVERY DAY needs here. THANK YOU
