WOW!!!! what a day of amazing basketball. We continue to be touched, strengthened and lifted up by the support of SO many people. The 3 on 3 Tourney was much, much more than a day of games. So many people came together to help families who have a child fighting cancer. We would like to thank all the players, refs, volunteers, spectators and a HUGE thank you to Amanda Patterson for organizing the event. Please know that we could not do this without many, many people coming together to raise funds. This very morning, only hours after the event, we received word of a very special family, who have a child struggling with brain cancer. They are by his side at this very moment in ICU, while he is in the fight for his life. Please know this: Every single person that contributed to the 3 on 3 Tourney in any way yesterday; YOU are helping this family from your love, kindness and support of the Aliza Jean Family Cancer Foundation. Youve allowed us to spring into action and take away some of the financial worry, that comes with missing work, so they can be with their child. You are continuing the love that you gave to our family, when Aliza was fighting. That love and support, is something that will forever hold up our family and SO many others. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will continue to do this for the rest of our lives. We are all in this together and it does take a village.
