WPD Investigating Two Males Shot on Merrifield Street Worcester, MA (November 10, 2014) - On Saturday November 8, 2014 at approximately 2:50 AM, Worcester police responded to Memorial Hospital for a report of two shooting victims that had just walked into the emergency room seeking treatment. Upon police arrival they observed two 23-year-old males that were conscious and alert. The males were suffering from non-life threatening injuries. According to the victims, they were standing on a porch on Merrifield Street when they heard several shots being fired. The victims stated that they did not see anyone firing a gun but noticed a vehicle drive by as the shots rang out. The victims could not provide a description of the vehicle. Officers responded to the Merrifield Street apartment and did locate a crime scene. WPD investigative units responded and processed the scene and conducted interviews. There is limited information with regard to the motive and suspect description.
