(WRCB) - We may still see a few showers and storms tonight, but they will not be severe or as heavy as the rain we saw last night. A cool front will slip by and drier air will filter in for Wednesday and most of Thursday. Highs are expected to climb into the low 80s for Wednesday and again on Thursday and Friday. Some isolated showers could develop Thursday night and early Friday. This weekend we will see some scattered showers on both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be near 80. The chance for showers and storms will continue for the beginning of next week. The National Weather Service has surveyed Catoosa county for storm damage. They have confirmed an EF-1 tornado that struck at 7:40 pm last night. The width was 100 yards and the length was 535 yards. It lasted around one minute. We will have a full report on that storm tonight on Channel 3. Download the WRCB weather app for the interactive radar. Paul Barys For Wednesday: 8am... Partly Cloudy, 63 Noon...
