WREX shares in the disappointment over the events that led to our separation with Eric Wilson. We have appreciated, counted on and valued Eric’s 19 year contribution to our station and to the Rockford community. Out of respect for Eric, our long time association, and also his decision to not publicly discuss the details of his separation, we agree that it would not be appropriate to discuss the specifics of our separation. We do, however, want our viewers and Eric’s supporters to know the decision was not made lightly or without good reason. We wish Eric well in his future endeavors and ask that our viewers respect his privacy in this matter.
