WTF... POS HUMANS Shelter dog rescued only to be abused by foster: needs a home now San Jose, CA: A dog needs a permanent home badly. You see, Larry was found as a stray and then saved from a high-kill shelter and placed with a foster. The foster passed all checks to approve her as a foster with references and all. But Larry was being abused by this woman. Among other things, she was not feeding Larry like she should have been. Once the rescue became aware of this, they quickly removed Larry from her care. So now Larry is being kept in the rescuer’s home temporarily until either another long-term foster is found or until he is adopted. Meet Larry. Larry is a beautiful Blue Nose Pit Bull Terrier. He is about 65 lbs, 2 years old, is current on all shots, and he has already been neutered. Larry is very submissive, sweet, calm well-behaved dog. He loves to go for long walks and visits to the pet store. He even stays calm on the walks and ignores the other dogs that are barking at him. He is only 2 years old so he is still really just a puppy. He loves children. Larry seems to be adjusting to life outside of the shelter, because he already prefers not to eat dry food unless there are chicken drippings over it. That being said, Larry is still nervous when he first meets people, probably because he is unsure if they will abuse him also or if they will be nice. He has been temperament tested and based on that, he would do best with another dog or dogs of similar size, possibly even a female. He has already been through so much: he really needs and deserves to be adopted into his forever home where he can have his own family that really appreciates the great dog that he is. Please help us find Larry a good home where no one ever hurts him again.
