WTOC Lynda Figueredo Update: Raccoon drive in Eden, GA remains closed at this time as the investigation continues. The officer is expected to be ok. Shortly after 6 pm Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 100 block of raccoon drive. While Sheriffs deputies were on scene trying to get the suspect out of the residence, the suspect walked outside and fired at least one shot at a deputy, Sheriffs spokesman David Ehsanipoor said. The suspect retreated back into the residence before deputies were able to return fire, Ehsanipoor said. The suspect eventually surrendered and was taken into custody. He faces several charges to include aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
