WWE Friday Night SmackDown Review! Matches will be rated out of Five, Show out of Ten. A brief desciption will be written for each match, and I will say if the match was won Clean or Dirty. As you probably guessed, SPOILERS AHEAD *Duh* A new found friendship? John Cena comes out to open the show, and talks about how on Raw he wanted to pick a fight with Seth Rollins, But instead fought with Dean Ambrose. He states that Dean is fueled to attack Seth because Dean was Curb Stomped into cinder blocks. And how He is fueled to attack Seth because Seth screwed John Cena out of the WWE Title. John Cena then calls out Seth Rollins, and challenges him to a match on Smackdown. But to John Cenas surprise Seth Rollins did not come out, Instead The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose came out. Dean explained that John is not the only person with a problem with the authority. Dean explained that attacking Seth Rollins is his thing and Cena got in his way. Both men begin to argue over who was screwed more. John finally tells Dean that they need to put their differences aside to defeate the atourity and offers a truce. John offers a handshake and Dean is about to shake it as The Atourity (Randy Orton, Kane, and Seth Rollins) Appear on the titantron. Kane tells them that he remembers what Dean used to call Cena when he was in the Shield. Nothing more than an over hyped action figure, who couldnt wrestle his way out of a box of cereal Randy then tells everyone that Cena used to say Dean was A nutjob who was going to self destruct just like every other wannabe who though he could get over in this business by pretending to be crazy Kane then presides to put John and Dean in another tag team match, against him and Randy later in the show. (Yay a rematch main event from raw....how original) Opening Match: Tag team Match Dolph ZIggler and Sheamus Vs The Miz and Damian Mizdow An intense tag team match, slow paced in the beginning but once Dolph was tagged in things were kicked up a notch. Dolph was flying through the ring attacking Damian Mizdow as Miz and Sheamus fought on the outside. Miz managed to hit Sheamus with a chair, without the ref seeing and got on the apron only to have Dolph superkick Miz, sending him to the outside again. Dolph hit a Zig Zag on Mizdow and picked up the victory via pinfall. Clean victory Rate: 3/5 (A wyatt vignette played next. It had a good creepy factor to it.) (A recap of Rusev and Big Shows feud played hyping Big Show responding to the Russian flag Inncident on raw) Match 2: Divas match Paige w/ Alica Fox Vs Naomi Typical diva match. In the end the beautiful and talented Paige picked up the victory via the PTO (Modified Scorpion Cross lock) with help from alicia fox. Dirty victory (IMO) After the match Aj lee came out and attacked Alica Fox. Rate: 2/5 Big Show and Rusev Segment Big show came out and delivered a speech about his actions on Raw.He apologizes to the Russian people he may have offended, and Rusev and Lana came out. Lana demands an apology from Big Show to her and Rusev. Big Show laughs and says he apologized to the people he may have inadvertently offended but he offended Lana and rusev on purpose. Rusev got bent out of shape, and asks Big Show You dare disrespect a flag of a superior country! He then states Big Show spit on the Russian people. He then says that Big Show and America sucks, and throws the mic at Big Show. Rusev then assaults Big Show with the Russian flag knocking Big Show to the ground, he then delivered a HUGE superkick to Big Show and starts to wave his flag. Big Show begins to get up and is furious, Lana yells at Rusev to look at Big Show as big Show stands. Rusev leaves the ring fast as Big Show takes off his jacket. Big Show screams at Rusev to come back to the ring and fight him again. Rusev leaves as the segment ends. Match Three: Tag Team Match Slater Gators Vs The Usos Slater was coming out ahead as The bunny came out.... The bunny doged the Gators attacks and The Gator ran into the pole. Titus and Slater turned around in the ring to be superkicked by both Usos. The Usos picked up the win via Double Splash. Clean win Rate: 1/5 (Dean ambrose backstage interview with Rene young) Match Four Singles Match Cesaro Vs R Truth w/ Little Jimmy Squash match, R truth tried to build some offence but was shut down by Cesaro. Cesaro wins via Neutralizer and pinfall. Clean win Rate: 1.5/5 (Golddust and Stardust promo) Main Event. Tag team match Dean Ambrose and John Cena Vs Kane and Randy Orton (The Authority) If you saw the match on Raw, you saw it here too. A good match all in all, but very similar to Raw. Back and forth match, at the end of the match Dean was going to tag Cena. But cena jumped off the apron and charged up the ramp, Seth Rollins was coming out and Cena attacked him and left Dean alone. Kane tagged in Orton and Dean let lose all over orton. orton got a stiff kick in though and went for the hangmans ddt on Dean, and hit it. Orton set up for the RKO, Ambrose shot for a roll up 1...2..Kickout by Randy! Dean then went for the Dirty Deeds but orto shoved Dean off and Dean ran into Kanes boot. The Authority was disqualified as Kane and Randy assaulted Dean. Kane hit Dean with a chokeslam and taunted Dean. Dean then took an RKO as Cena came back out. The Authority split as Cena was left in the ring with Dean, As the Authority celebrated on the ramp. Rate: 4/5 Show rating: 6.5/10
