WZWA News: September 4th, 2014 Welcome to WZWA News Wrap here on Facebook! -At our last WZWA show, Frostbite, we not only crowned new WZWA Tag Team Champions in the Elite Alliances Ryan Tate and Blade Shaw, but Rockstar Alex Stone was able to defy the odds to become WZWA Heavyweight Champion! All eyes are on what will go down between Alex Stone and his former best friend Aston Crude in the coming months, and most believe the feud will be coming to an epic finish sooner than later. -Our next WZWA show is THIS SATURDAY at the WZWA Arena, where we see the first ever Trios Tournament in Australian Backyard Wrestling history. GBYWN President Rad Hazard has claimed in recent months how impressed hes been with the boys down under, claiming how great it is to see us constantly evolve and continue to create new and exciting formats and matches at our shows. Its set to be an epic show featuring Yarders from all over WA, past and present. -Rumors are running rampant that Inner City Wrestling Syndicates own Chris Zeplin may make an appearance this weekend to cheer on Team ICWS which features 5 time Backyard wrestling Heavyweight champion Dan Zeplin, former GBYWN Australian Heavyweight Champion Nightstalker Daniel Johnston, and another former ICWS great turned WZWA bad boy The Revolutionary Clint Marshall. The stakes could never be higher considering one of the biggest backyard federations in WA will finally be represented in the WZWA. -More major news on the tournament, as some may know, Australian Backyard Wrestling Hall of Famer, Jonny V will be participating in the show, teaming with fellow Hall of Famer Nik Arial and 10 time BYW Heavyweight Champion Aston Crude to represent their former federation xCw which was one of the biggest and greatest in WAs history from 2001-2010. Having Team xCw in this tournament solidifies how important it is, and all eyes will be on how this team fares in todays environment of hungry young talent in the WZWA. -xCw Legend Just Mike will be inducted this Saturday into the Australian Backyard Wrestling Hall Of Fame after WZWA Clash of the Triads. Just Mikes contributions to backyard wrestling for the last 11 years, along with media he has produced for Professional wrestling companies from Perth to the UK, to the U.S and Canada have been something to hold in high regard, and he will finally get the respect and admiration he deserves this weekend. -With this weekend also being a huge show in regards to the representation of former/other current backyard federations, its rumored that even more former BYW stars from W.A will be an attendance for the show. -More on the rumor mill, its speculated that xCw Legend HYDRO will be making his return to WZWA this weekend, with the anticipation building as to what his agenda will be in the WZWA. -Arthur Aries from the tag team Triple A is yet again unavailable to show this weekend, but has promised everybody that it will be the last time, as Saturdays will now be free for himself from now on. Big Ace will be there to represent Triple A though, as he and DK Joker will battle in a singles match to see who goes into Team Rising Star for the Trios Tournament. -KY Fusion is still expected to be out till at earliest November, but likely December after having surgery to remove a bone from his ear. Fusion is one of the fastest rising stars in the WZWA, and his presence on shows is already sorely missed. -One of the biggest rumors out there at the moment is that of a former prominent Perth Professional Wrestler is lobbying for a WZWA match down the line. Stay tuned for that one - chances of it happening are high. -WZWA will also have an important announcement regarding themselves after this weekend on our YouTube Account. This announcement could ruffle a few feathers, but it will all be in good fun. -Killawatt Kaos no-showed the last WZWA show, but has since apologized to management over it and couldnt be more fired up to represent Team Hardcore this weekend at WZWA Clash of the Triads. -Nightstalker Daniel Johnston missed the last WZWA show as well due to an ear infection, thus missing out on his match with The Revolutionary Clint Marshall. The feud is expected to continue when DJ returns this weekend to actually team with Clint Marshall for Team ICWS at WZWA Clash of the Triads. -The Rebellion have received rave reviews for their recent heel turns from all the WZWA roster and fans. Many are excited to see where this may lead to in the near future. -Dark Ice and Rex Regum finally ended their 8 month feud at the last show in 3 Stages of Hell. What many said was a case of epic storytelling mixed with crazy spots, it was a solid main event to Frostbite, but it wasnt without it critics as well. That being said, for the majority in attendance, it was one of the matches of the show. -Management are looking to implement more storylines in the future for WZWAs Ladies, Lyla and Alice. -Thats all for this months News Wrap, thank you to everybody for your support and keep an eye out on our YouTube for some MAJOR announcements coming soon! https://youtube/user/WZWAWrestling
