Wacom has announced a cool new Cintiq that we are anxious to get our hands on, the Cintiq 27QHD Touch. Its their new flagship Cintiq following in the tradition of the previous 24 version, but this is something more than a slightly larger upgrade of a combination tablet and display. First, the display offers over one billion colors so you see 97% of the complete Adobe color gamut. Next, its not only an excellent toolbox for creativity, with the ExpressKey system we have come to expect, but the ExpressKey array is operational from a remote control device, which to our imaginations is a fabulous means of presenting work, as well. Among the accessories we want to try is the Wacom Color Manager, an X-Rite related product for screen to print matching. Were also interested in seeing how Wacom has used what they learned from the ergonomics of the Cintiq 24HD to improve their work surfaces unique positioning. Its expected that the most promising and beautiful Cintiq will ship later this month.
