Wade relentlessly pushes human variability into big socio-linguistic boxes of difference. Raced difference. Just small variations he says out of one side of his mouth. Small variations that he then weaves into huge narrative tapestries of genetic social difference. Differences so immensely powerful that empires are built or collapse because of them. They rise, they fall because, well, its just in their nature. Oh.
