Heavenly Father. Lord, my heart is burdened tonight, for the pain of the family and friends of Trayvon Martin, and our nation. Lord, we are not just like you. We do our best, but sometimes, things of this world get in the way, and confuse a just verdict. Lord, I seek you now, to find peace over this. I ask you to be here with us now, because there is so much anger, discord, and lack of understanding. Lord, Trayvon was your child, and his life was cut off. He cannot defend himself, he cannot tell us what happened. Those in the State Attorneys office, did their best, but it was not enough. Lord, I ask you, please, send your angels, to calm the outrage, to quell the sadness and disbelief. Lord, you are the one true Judge, and I know, there will be a day that George Zimmerman stands before you, and he will have to answer for his actions. There will be no where to go, and he knows the truth- as you do. I pray for the soul of Trayvon, a child taken from this world, for no reason. And I pray for those jurors Lord, that no one blames them for doing the best they could. Lord, I need you, your people need you, to come and intercede in the threat of what may come from this. Bring us peace Lord. Bring us peace.
