Wait a minute here. Did I hear that governor Paul LaPage stated that 47% of Mainers do not work?. Geez, thats almost half of our population. How could this be? Is he counting babies, children, disabled and the elderly?? When questioned, his office said that he received this information from the Heritage Foundation. Are you kidding me?? I dont work, Im a retired state worker. I must be included in that 47% of Mainers who leach off the state for welfare, food stamps and every thing else I can get for nothing. I wish, for once, just once, governor LaPage would get his facts straight. If I could give him some advise, I would tell him to spend more time concentrating on creating jobs and the important things that affect all of the people of Maine. We are Mainers, proud and hard working. We do not deserve to be labeled as low class , uneducated and lazy by our own governor....
