Wait on the Lord: Impatience disqualifies many people from great blessings. Common blessings are for all if Gods children. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. Matthew 5:45. But some blessings are reserved only for the patient. Valuable things take longer to achieve. Gold is mined miles deep. It takes 9 long months to produce a healthy baby. Instant success begets instant failure. Get rich quick makes one poor quickly. Countless dreams are crashed and shattered on the rock of impatience. Patience pays; “They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
