Waiting for opportunity to come before preparation is putting the cart before the horse. We had one family friend who had the gift of writing. He did not write a line then a friend of his became a minister, he hurriedly started writing a book that the friend will launch for him. Of course it never happened because the friend was asked out of govt unexpectedly. How many times do we see people not do or stop doing something because they feel there is no need for it. Sometimes it is lack of faith, foolishness and ignorance. I recall that when computer came out, I took computer lessons from secretary and finally paid to learn it. It was 5k and my salary then was 14,500. I did not have a computer. Knew I could not afford one then but I still went on. Then I was invited for a job in the bank and the only thing that would have disqualified me was no knowledge of computer. Just imagine. When I began to write my colleagues laughed at me. How on earth will you raise money to publish the book? I said, till I get there. By the time I got there God has prepared a family friend to bail me out. Tomorrow is in the hands of only Him knows what it will bring. DO YOUR BIT TODAY SO WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY COMES YOU WILL BE READY.
