#WakeUpMemphis We went down to the Dog & Pony show *round two* @ City Hall today!!! Most of the same faithful folks who have supported our cause all summer were there!!! They are still trying to fight the battle of *fairness for all* including the ones who are not able to attend!!! I have met so many wonderful people this summer. I have made some awesome friends!!! I have seen true character at its best and met a few true *characters*!!! YIKES!!! I have seen how our city runs up-close and personal. I have seen the drama and power struggles that are always a part of politics. ugh I would like to say this summer has renewed my faith in government, but it has not!!! Memphis needs a change of direction, but a few folks cant make it happen. It is going to take a mass of folks to get engaged, who can see past their self-interests and want a better Memphis for all. *I* think Mike Williams would bring something new to the table and reverse some of the damage done by the last two mayors!!! Regardless of my faith in his abilities after watching and listening all summer, this will not happen unless he is the consensus candidate!!! If we have 10 candidates they will simply cancel out each others votes. Of course, that is what the current administration is hoping will happen. The FORENSIC Audit is our last hope. Even if we win the injunction, we are going to go through this again next year!!! YOU have to decide??? Do you want to be a fb warrior or a volunteer for change??? Memphis is in your hands!!!
