Waking up to a phone call about a young man passing has put my mind in a state of many scrambled thoughts and a heavy heart beyond explanation. Not only was he a young man, he was a courageous young man and an example to so many. Colton had cancer (synovial sarcoma) for the last 2 years, and he has fought it above and beyond. His family has been through the utmost of ups and downs, as they have been by his side and kept their faith. My heart is so torn, I know Colton is no longer suffering; but losing him and seeing so many people hurt is also hard to witness. I am crying, as I think of the mourning and confusion of others, but I am rejoicing in this, for I know he is no longer suffering and has been freed of his earthly body. My hopes are that everyone will ease through the grieving process, and find peace and understanding in this. My prayers are for continued strength in the mothers heart and her younger sons as well. This is truly a hard day. Especially acknowledging that no one could know their pain- but also knowing there is nothing ANYONE can do to ease it. Please pray hard, deep, and often for my friend and her family. Colton is now their angel and is luckier than so many of us, to witness eternal life with the Father. But the folks here on earth are still so saddened and hurt- just keep them on your minds and in yor prayers. Thanks yall.
