Wale Tinubu is an entrepreneur per excellence. His name may not be a household name like Alhaji Aliko Dangote or Femi Otedola but certainly hes a man that has carved out a niche for himself on the Nigerian business landscape. Hes the guy atop OANDO ,an indigenous oil and gas company. Ive been to his office twice but unable to meet him because hes always busy working on one project or the other. In a typical Nigeria company if you are not a big boy or has connection with the Oga at the top you are treated with disdain. In OANDO the corporate culture is different.The courtesy with which the staff treat you, the attention and the willingness to help would marvel you. If you think its an exaggeration visit Femi Otedolas office - Ive been there once - and see the way you would be treated. Hes expanding the OANDO brand by recently acquiring a competitor in ConocoPhilips Oil Company. Forbes rated Wale Tinubu as one of most influential person in the business world. Kudos to you sir ,the Chief Executive of OANDO. The sky is the stepping stone. I admire your vision and the vigour with which youre pursuing it. Youre a role model. Keep it up.
