Walk up this morning from moms sudden banging on the door. Dad had - TopicsExpress

Walk up this morning from moms sudden banging on the door. Dad had a bad fall again this morning while in the garden. His legs unfortunately weak again. Looks like we will be on close watch again today. Mom saw him lying on the ground next to the chair in the picture I attached below. His right leg full of blood and scratches on his arms. I rushed over to see how he is, and as he always says, I am ALRIGHT. I will be install wireless cams around the house to monitor mom and dads movement. As a son, its almost impossible for anyone to understand the worry and pain one goes through in situations like these, unless you personally experience it. One feels so angry yet helpless when there is no medication or doctor that can help cure him. Is there a cure to time? No. And this is why we should cherish every precious moment with our love ones. And lets just hope the people around us understand the situations we go though in times like these. This reminds me of a touching book I once read... Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. Then it suddenly occurred to me... could this be ALS also known as Lou Gehrigs disease... Reading on wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amyotrophic_lateral_sclerosis I noticed the symptoms for early stages are very similar to what dad has. Given the fact as well that dad has been have a number of Nurological tests due to symptoms of nerve issues. Need to research more on the topic. Time is tickling. Please keep praying for my dad. He is the greatest man I know and will ever know. And as a parent myself, the devotion that my dad is doing for his family and the sacrifice that he gave me and my sisters though the years of us growing up and preparing us to the world ahead of us can never be compensated for. For me, he is the greatest man that lives!!! I love you dad soo much. And as I was going though some quotes from the book, I came across this one in particular: “there are a few rules I know to be true about love and marriage: If you dont respect the other person, youre gonna have a lot of trouble. If you dont know how to compromise, youre gonna have a lot of trouble. If you cant talk openly about what goes on between you, youre gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you dont have a common set of values in life, youre gonna have a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike. - Morrie Schwartz” and “Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do somehing else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldnt. You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted.” I will be posting a number of quotes from the book in the succeeding hours, days to come... If you havent read the book, I suggest you should.
