Walking in the Word When I was just a young boy of about 8 - TopicsExpress

Walking in the Word When I was just a young boy of about 8 years old, I came to the altar for forgiveness of my sins; and I repeated this act continually until I was around 12 years old. At the age of 12, I had the most amazing experience with the Lord at the altar while praying for salvation: I felt as if 50 pounds of weight fell off my back; and the most awesome love of God entered into me. I have been in love with Jesus ever since, for 58 years now. It has been an amazing walk with the Lord that has taught me to live by the Word of God. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and He will give you everything you need. Luke 12:31 (NLT). Through a life of obeying Gods financial laws, I have had things that I could not have afforded on my salaries. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. Luke 6:38 (NLT). This has surely been true in my life because I have given to God as the scriptures have asked of us. Giving to others in need attracts Gods attention, also: If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord: and He will repay you! Proverbs 19:17 (NLT). Loving others is what Jesus taught us: So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. John 13:34 (NLT). Walking in the Word of God is not difficult; and it is surely a life changing experience that will bring you innumerable blessings through Gods promises. But, when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in Heaven will forgive your sins, too. Mark 11:25 (NLT). These are not hard commandments! But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:15 (NLT). I have never seen God fail to keep His promises in my soon to be 70 years of life. God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change his mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? Numbers 23:19 (NLT). But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NLT). So lets not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we dont give up. Galatians 6:9 (NLT). To Be Blessed, Walk in the Word!
