Walking slowly through dusty lanes, And moonlight softly gleaming my way, Showing shadows of my past, I was lost somewhere in deep thoughts. Walking on sand nearby a beach, And water shimmering in the moonlight, With waves rising, And water flowing towards me. Lavish white dress flowing vividly to become part of those foamy waves, Tears flowing down the cheeks, telling the story of lost game of life. The broken trust and the shattered heart, No hopes and no aspirations from the life left. You left me alone snatching back your protective hand, That used to hold me and give me strength. And taking back warmth of your love, That always protected me from this cold eyed world. I still remember the day very closely, Like it was only yesterday that you held my hand, And asked me to be yours, to be forever in your life, Then why you left me in the midst of my life. Like the endless sea with the waves rising and drowning, And endless sky with millions of stars shining, I have lost my way in this endless world, Don’t know where to move on now. No one is there for whom I want to live for, Why you left me alone in this earthly game? We were to walk together all the time, So how could you walk alone towards your doom? I am feeling very lonely, I am still waiting desperately for you to come and hold my hand and take me along, Far away from this world, And hold me in warmth of your love. #Mehak P.S.
