Walking to the 7-11 at 2pm today,..as I rounded a corner there was a man, slightly trembling and shaking a bit,...hiding by a tree for safety,...I recognized him! He looked very familiar. He raised his head when I called his name,..it was _______ a long time waiter that I have known for decades from a VERY popular Mexican Restaurant since the 1980s. Everyone knew him,...I said,..Come with me man,..let us eat and get you stronger and forget about what happened to you, everything will be just fine, you just have to try again. We laughed about the past and the time he/the restaurant served me too many tequilas and margaritas years ago. :) It was a beautiful hour and a half. He is now on the DART bus and the train headed to his Mother and Fathers home for Easter Sunday where he can come clean, talk to family and get his strength back and get his familys help and eat. Just a great moment. Always be there to help others who are in need,...I wanted to share this moving moment without showing self aggrandizement. (look up that word) :)
