Walvisbay - Buyer The Company seeks to appoint a Buyer to be based at its Walvis Bay office. The successful candidate must be dynamic and proactive, with high skill levels and competencies in the following areas: • Process purchasing transactions complying with both Company & statutory regulations • Determine method of purchasing • Ensure criteria relating to price, quantity, quality and delivery are met • Identify departments’ needs & develop and refine specifications • Update and maintain records and files • Follow up and resolve purchasing queries • Meet with sales representatives REQUIREMENTS • Minimum experience : 3 years • Engineering industry experience is preferable • Strong understanding of Namibian VAT Act • Computer literate • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Possess excellent and unquestionable ethics • Must be able to work under pressure • Namibian citizenship will be an advantage send detailed cv to [email protected] with photo and salary requirement
