Wanna be amazed? At 18:55 today (13th), look to the NW at an altitude of 63 degrees. You will hopefully see a bright light that will grow and fade for a few moments. This is an iridium flare. There are 80 Iridium satellites in orbit: their large antenna act like mirrors and reflect the sun from time to time. They are great to see at night, but are particularly fascinating when seen during daylight.
