Want to attend a ball, but but dont know how to dance? No problem! The Olde South Ball on February 8th makes it easy for beginners: *There is a free dance practice at the ball location earlier in the day *Steps are called throughout the entirety of the dances at the actual ball, so you dont have to know the steps ahead of time or magically remember them all *Our dance callers are experienced instructors who lead a monthly historical dance group and will explain the dances in a simple, straightforward, user-friendly way *We have instructions and videos on our website for many of the dances in case you would like to see the dances and the steps ahead of time: oldesouthball/dancesteps.html *The dances chosen have enough charm and variation to keep peoples interest, but are also straightforward enough to learn easily.
