Want to audition for a short upcoming dramedy at Cornerstone? Were holding auditions! Heres a message from Cornerstones Visual and Performing Arts team! We are looking for individuals who would like to audition for a part in a short dramedy (15-20 minutes) entitled Checkout. Subject: A small group of shoppers is trapped in line at a grocery store when their true selves are revealed. Characters: Ruby: Grocery sacker, early 20s-30 Bob: Cashier, 35-55 Yaseef: Hindu man, 30-50 (Does not have to be ethnic) Pam: Early 30s-40 Marge: 45-60 Mr. Snister: Store manager, 40-65 Auditions will be Tuesday, June 3, 7-9pm in the Main Sanctuary (enter through the Prayer Garden doors). ***To prepare for the audition you will need to check out a copy of the script by stopping by the VPA office this Sunday, May 25 at 10AM. The VPA office is off the multi-purpose room. Walk through the big doors at the back of the Prayer Garden, enter the large main room, and the VPA office is the first room on the left! *** Rehearsals will be held in the Main Sanctuary. See below for rehearsal schedule. Childcare will be available on Wednesday nights only.
