Want to be crowned Miss Cooly Rocks On 2014? Miss Cooly Rocks On is a Vintage Glamour Pageant open to all women 18 and over, as part of the Cooly Rocks On festival held on the Gold Coast/Tweed 30th May to 9th June 2014! HOW TO ENTER You must submit 3 photographs (high res) of yourself that you believe showcase your love for vintage styling! • One of the three photographs must be a full length shot. • One of the three photographs must be a head shot. • Any photographs containing nudity or inappropriate posing will not be accepted. You must submit a 2 minute video bio! This can be as simple or as creative as you wish. This is your chance to show your personality whilst telling us why you are entering the Miss Cooly Rock On Vintage Glamour Pageant! You must also provide us with your name and your location. Contestants must be available to fulfil the following obligations should they be chosen as a finalist. • Attend a meet and greet plus sashing on the evening of Friday 6th June 2014 • Take part in the Cooly Rock On Street Parade on the morning of Saturday 7th June 2014 • Wear their sash while promoting the pageant and its sponsors whilst enjoying the festival throughout Saturday • Compete live on stage on the evening of Saturday 7th June All entrants will have their photos, name and location placed on the Miss Cooly Rocks On facebook page. The photos along with the video bio will be viewed by a panel to determine the 12 finalists. The video bio of each of the finalists will then be posted on the facebook page. Finalists will be notified by email and requested to secure their position in the top 12 by a $50 deposit which will be fully refunded on attendance. Entries should be emailed to misscoolyrockson@coolyrockson Entries close on 16th May, 2014. FINALISTS The 12 finalists will attend a meet and greet on Friday 6th June. They will then be presented on stage and sashed. All finalists are required to take part in the Street Parade on Saturday 7th June and then wear their sash throughout the day as they enjoy the festival. Finalists will compete against each other live on stage Saturday 7th June. Three outfits will be required for the night – showcasing Day wear, Swimwear/Beachwear and Evening wear Finalists will be judged by a panel of judges on originality, overall styling presentation, crowd appeal and stage presence. At the end of the competition, one contestant will be named Miss Cooly Rocks On 2014 with two runner ups also being chosen!
