Want to give something back to your new community? Participate in the CORRI LA VITA walkathon! Corri la Vita is an annual Florentine walkathon to help raise funds against breast cancer for various local and national associations, such as LILT Florence (Italian League for the fight against tumors), FILE (Italian Hospice association) and the Careggi Florentine Research Hospitals SOD Breast Diagnostics Center, in support of the “Vito Distante Project in Breast Cancer Clinical Research”. This event combines sport and social consciousness and is a unique opportunity for participants to have fun while we keep in mind the reality of breast cancer. This event involves the entire city of Florence and everyone is welcome to participate, both residents and non residents alike! Participation in this event means you will have the chance to contribute towards saving millions of lives each year; your participation can make a difference. Florence, Sunday September 28th 2014 The Walkathon against Breast Cancer 12th Edition To be part of the FUA walkathon team: please fill out the entry form and turn it in along with your minimum donation of €10! Where to sign up: please come to the Student Life office, Corso Tintori 21, to fill out the form and turn in the €10 enrollment fee Deadline to sign up: Friday, September 12th, 12:00pm *Each enrolled participant will later receive instructions on how to pick up a bib number and, while supplies last, a free Salvatore Ferragamo T-shirt. Dont forget to wear your t-shirt to the walkathon on Sunday! Even if you are not able to participate on the day of the event, you donation still can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer and support research.
